Shipping & Handling
We are pleased to send music software as well as sample & loop libraries worldwide. However, we can only send music hardware to the United States and Canada. Separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on your order form. Orders must be placed by 2PM Pacific Standard Time to be processed the same day. Most orders placed by that cutoff time will be shipped that day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will be processed the next business day. We DO NOT ship to P.O. Boxes.
SynthMedia.net is pleased to offer free UPS Ground Shipping on most purchases over $199, single item or combined! Items (single or combined) that are over 12 pounds will not qualify for the free shipping offer. Free Shipping is valid only to the continental 48 United States. The free shipping option will appear at the check out process for all qualifying orders. Please send us an email with any questions regarding this policy. You should receive orders placed with UPS ground shipping within 5 to 7 business days.
Typical Delivery Times per Carrier:
UPS ground: 2-9 business days within the Continental United States. Upgrades available for 3 day select (ground) 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air, with additional upgrade to early morning 2nd and Next Day Air.
Saturday Delivery:
- Please Note: Saturday delivery is not included as part of our Standard Next Day service. If you are ordering anything on a Friday via Next Day, you must call us and notify us before 2 PM Pacific Time that you will need your order delivered Saturday. An additional $15 Saturday Delivery fee will be charged to your credit card.
International Shipping:
SynthMedia.net only offers international shipping to Canada and Mexico. In some rare cases we may not be able to ship certain products overseas because the manufacturer regulations. In these cases you will be notified quickly. Our low prices on computer music products and International shipping do not include any local duties, VAT or customs charges you may have to pay when your order arrives. Please contact your local customs office for more information. Additionally, SynthMedia.net cannot be held responsible for customs delays beyond our control.
Exchange & Return Policy
General Return Policy and Terms:
All returns must be authorized by SynthMedia.net within 30 days of your order being received. After 30 days, the manufacturer’s warranty process must be followed. All products must be returned unopened and sealed inside the original package. Opened products may be subject to a 10-15% restocking fee depending on the item and return policy of the manufacturer. Opened products must be returned with the original packaging materials, including warranty cards, manuals and any other items. Failure to include all materials will result in additional charges. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.
How To Make A Return:
Call SynthMedia at 818-367-5738 to arrange for an RA number (Return Authorization) that you should write on the box near the shipping label. Packages without an RA number will not be accepted. A completed RA form must be included in box to identify whom the return is from and the reason for the return. Failure to include this form will result in a delay of processing your credit or exchange.
RA numbers are valid for 15 days only. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable for returns. If you receive a damaged package or if you need to return an item as a result of our mistake, we will arrange for the return of the item at our expense.
Your credit card will be credited or an exchange unit will be sent once we receive and inspect the product. Most credit card companies will post the credit to your account within 48 hours, but it may take up to 2 weeks before your credit is posted.
Software Refunds and Returns:
Copyright infringement laws do not allow us to accept any software products after they are shipped. If you do not see the specific software information related to your platform on our website, we suggest that you call us and/or contact the manufacturer in order to get the most accurate information. All software purchases are final, and although we wish we had the power to change the manufacturer’s policies concerning returns, we cannot be liable for such.
Hardware Refunds and Returns:
Microphones are non returnable as they are classified as personal items. Opened hardware products are subject to a 15% restocking fee. You may exchange hardware product(s) within 3 days from the date you receive your order, for an equivalent product exempt of any fees, again, given your product is sealed. You must email or call SynthMedia.net and request a return authorization number prior to shipping your return. Returns without an authorization number will be refused and sent back to you. Defective merchandise can be swapped within 30 days of purchase for another of the exact model type, after that, it must be sent in for warranty repair. Please check with the manufacturer after that time.
Other Non-Returnable Items:
There are certain items that cannot be returned for very specific reasons. These items include software, books, special orders and any item that is considered personal; such as microphones, earphones, instrument mouthpieces, in-ear monitors, or other items that touch your mouth, nose, or inserted in your ear.
